The Nowicki Carbone Moot was one in the series of the RMIT LSS Invitational Moot Series.
Sponsored by Nowicki Carbone, this moot gave the competitors a rare opportunity to moot competitively in the Old Melbourne Magistrates Court, against both La Trobe and Melbourne University.
There can be no doubt that competition was tough on the day with the judges happily grilling the competitors on their Personal Injury knowledge.
Both Moots can be watched here.
We are happy to announce that three of competitors; Paul Melican, Steph Prolisko and Naomi Keessen have been selected to represent RMIT at the Australian Law Student Association in July.
Over the final weekend in May, RMIT 2 took on Victoria University in the inaugural Maurice Blackburn Invitational Moot, at the Old Melbourne Magistrates Courts. RMIT2 won the moot.
Our congratulations go to Elise Steegstra & Murphy Hawkins.
Well done to both you! All your hard work paid off!
Murphy also won the Best Speaker award on the day. Congratulations Murphy!
Victoria University performed well and we would like to thank them for such a competitive and fun day.
We would also like to extend our thanks to David Mejia-Canales for being our judge, and Maurice Blackburn for sponsoring the moot
