LSS End of Exams Drinks
Please join the LSS for the END OF SEMESTER DRINKS at Marrakech Cocktail Bar on the 26 June 2015 from 7:30pm. There will be plenty of beer, wine, champagne and spirits! Plus we will be having shisha pipes and canapés!!
For those that would like to stay on after the event you will get free entry into the nightclub!

Free training session in plain language writing
Find out about plain language writing in this free one-hour training session presented by Victoria Law Foundation. You will learn how to write clearly and effectively to best communicate your message to a specific audience. Designed for RMIT JD students, the session will most benefit first year students wanting tips on assignment writing, and more senior students who are looking to develop their practical skills.
For those who are OUA students the lectures will be recorded and slides will be uploaded online.

Free Public Lecture – Chief Justice Robert French
Melbourne Law School is pleased to invite you to the 2015 Harold Ford Memorial Lecture.
The speaker is The Honourable Chief Justice Robert French AC, Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, who will speak on “Trusts and Statutes”.
This is a free public lecture but registration is required. Following the lecture, you are invited to attend a dinner with Chief Justice French, the Dean and other members of Melbourne Law School and other guests – payment details for the dinner are below.

Numbers: 2-4 volunteers per group, up to 50 per day
Super early bird: 6.30am–9.30am
Lunch rush: 11am–2pm
Afternoon delight: 4–6pm
WEEKENDS - Intersection collecting
Dates: Sat 23, Sun 24, Sat 30, Sun 31 May or Sat 6 June
Numbers: 10 volunteers per group, up to 100 per day
Super early bird: 6.30am-10.30am
Lunch rush: 10am-1.30pm
Afternoon delight: 1pm-5pm
