REPRESENTATION

Representatives are selected to advocate for particular groups within the rmit gsbl student body. their work ensures the championing of the llb and jd cohorts they represent and coordinating events and opportunities to support their interests.

The Equity portfolio advocates for equality in all activities and the RMIT LSS. This is not limited to gender, disability, ethnicity or religious belief but also to other equality issues facing the RMT LSS.

The First Nations portfolio promotes the interests of Indigenous students within RMIT University, through events, workshops and advocacy.

The Women's portfolio undertakes the task of addressing systemic barriers faced by individuals whom identify as female and non-binary students. Essentially, this portfolio seeks to provide a space that is safe, inclusive and promotes representation.
