RMIT LSS Mental Health & Exam Check-in
With another round of exams fast approaching, it's so important to check-in with ourselves and each other, especially while we are physically distant. The committee and senior law students take the opportunity to share their experiences and some tips on how you can feel more calm and confident going into online exams, and touch on managing stress and seeking support.


LSS Legal Writing Workshop - Semester 2, 2020
Do you find yourself struggling with structure, fumbling with format, and getting your words all wrong for legal writing? Are you new to writing legal memos and letter to client?

As part of our ongoing series to support your study from home - RMIT LSS is hosting a Legal Writing Workshop to help you build your skills in the kind of legal writing specifically used in assessment at RMIT. Using feedback from law lecturers and high performing students, we will breakdown in simple terms the key challenges for legal writing using easy to understand and real examples from other students to get you that HD.

Legal Research Class (Anastasia Stephanovic) - Semester 2, 2020
RMIT LSS is hosting a legal research workshop to help students develop research skills that are industry focused and will accompany them into their workplace. This workshop will be an online zoom tutorial with Anastasia Stepanovic, Law Librarian at Maddocks and President of the Australian Law Librarian's Association! Legal research is hard, we'll help you research like a boss!

Research Masterclass (Anastasia Stephanovic) - Semester 1 2020
The LSS are presenting a legal research class to help students develop industry-relevant research skills. This research class will be lead by Anna Stepanovic who is president of Australian Law Librarian Association – Victorian chapter and works as a law librarian and in legal research
training at Maddocks.

We'll be showing you how to get started, what the best databases are for your search topic, what skills and questions to ask when you're looking and getting tips from industry professionals on how to establish good search practices.
