We seek to advocate for students in all activities and within the RMIT Law Students' Society.
We believe that equity is essential to our success and our commitment to providing a supportive environment where everyone's backgrounds are recognized and celebrated. To this end, we have implemented a broad range of portfolios to promote diversity and inclusion, including the Equity Portfolio, Women's Portfolio, First Nations Portfolio, Queer Portfolio, and the First Year Portfolios.
THE PORTFOLIOS
Equity portfolio
The Equity Portfolio offers and promotes a diverse range of opportunities and events that focus on topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. These topics include disability, First Nations people, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, people of color, and many more.

WOMENS' Portfolio
The Women's Portfolio aims to address and facilitate discussions about the systemic barriers that female-identifying and non-binary people face in the legal industry. They also seek to provide a supportive space for women studying law to connect with each other and find a network of students who share their passion for feminism, equality, and diversity in law.

First Nations PORTFOLIO
The First Nations Portfolio works to better connect Indigenous students to the RMIT Law Students' Society (LSS) and the Graduate School of Business and Law (GSBL). The portfolio collaborates with other portfolios to ensure that events and spaces are respectful and inclusive of Indigenous students. The portfolio also seeks to organize events that raise awareness of Indigenous-related issues.

FIRST YEAR PORTFOLIO
The First Year Portfolio (LLB and Juris Doctor) was created to provide first-year law students at RMIT University with the opportunity to celebrate their first year of law school. The portfolio acts as a first step for first-year students to build their networks, create memories, and have tons of fun.
