EQUITY and diversity

We advocate for the inclusion of students from every background.
The RMIT LSS promotes a diverse range of opportunities and events that focus on topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We believe that equity is essential to our success and our commitment to providing a supportive environment where everyone's backgrounds are recognized and celebrated.

THE PORTFOLIO

2025 events

  • RMIT LSS Women in Law Panel

WOMENS' Portfolio

The Women's Portfolio aims to facilitate discussions about the systemic barriers that women face in the legal industry. They also seek to provide a supportive space for women studying law to connect with each other and find a network of students who share their passion for feminism, equality, and diversity in law.

qUEER PORTFOLIO

The Queer Portfolio was created to foster a culture of acceptance, diversity, and intersectionality. The portfolio aims to welcome and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, and encourages allies to get involved and grow with the portfolio.

UNDERGRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE REPRESENTATIVES

We recognise the different life stages and needs of students in different cohorts within the RMIT School of Law. Our committee includes Representatives from each cohort to ensure diverse student voices are included at every stage of our activities.
