Junior moot

RMIT LSS Junior Moot

Compete for a $200 cash prize against other first-time mooters! No experience necessary!

This competition is open to RMIT students who are in their first year of study or have not participated in a moot before. It is aimed at teaching students how to compete in your first foot and is an essential stepping stone for students who wish to compete nationally and internationally and represent RMIT.

The problem will be focused on Criminal Law, however it is not necessary for you to have completed the subject or have any experience. This is an excellent opportunity to try out mooting in a supportive, internal RMIT environment where you will be given support and mentoring from experienced mooters. In 2019, there will be two optional, but highly recommended workshops for all competitors to assist you in preparing your written and oral submissions.

Key Dates:
Moot Problem Released: 10th August
Workshop #1 - Written Submissions: 12th August at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm (Room 57.04.37)

Workshop #2 - Oral Submissions: 26th August at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm (Room 57.04.37)
